Hi Everyone!
My name is Emily Holm and I have been the high school counselor for HLWW since 2017. I grew up on a dairy farm in Litchfield, Minnesota before going on to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southwest Minnesota State University, and then my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I now live in Dassel with my husband Nic and two kids, Greta and Andrew.
I enjoy working one on one with students whether we are discussing careers they are interested in, social struggles they may be facing, or academic concerns. It has been a joy to get to know students on a variety of levels and use my training and education to help students both on their best days as well as their challenging times. Please reach out if you would like to check in with me or you feel your student would benefit from additional support!
