HLWW Hall of Fame

HLWW Public Schools began its Hall of Fame in 2014. A committee of community members and former and present school staff collect nominations from community members.

If you would like to nominate someone who meets the selection criteria, please complete the nomination form found on this page. Forms can be submitted to the HLWW District Office or can be emailed to Superintendent Secretary Marilyn Greeley at mgreeley@hlww.k12.mn.us

All nominees will be reviewed by the committee and the next inauguration of the HLWW Hall of Fame class is anticipated for May of 2023.

Thank you for your support and interest in this wonderful recognition.

Hi Everyone!
My name is Emily Holm and I have been the high school counselor for HLWW since 2017. I grew up on a dairy farm in Litchfield, Minnesota before going on to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southwest Minnesota State University, and then my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I now live in Dassel with my husband Nic and two kids, Greta and Andrew.
I enjoy working one on one with students whether we are discussing careers they are interested in, social struggles they may be facing, or academic concerns. It has been a joy to get to know students on a variety of levels and use my training and education to help students both on their best days as well as their challenging times. Please reach out if you would like to check in with me or you feel your student would benefit from additional support!
